Charlottetown is a fun mix of old and new. As the Lonely Planet guide says: "University Ave is the city's largest street; its southern terminus is punctuated by historic province House, which marks the entrance to Old Charlottetown. Befitting the transition is the stark juxtaposition of the house and the modern Confederation Centre of the Arts." "To the west of town, on the waterfront, is the verdant Victoria ark and its sweeping promenade."
hahaha we did grow to love the verbiage of the Lonely Planet. :-) Here is an eclectic collection of photos of some of the things we saw in Old Charlottetown.
(Dr. Mari, this next one is for you: an ice cream store called "Cows".)
