4/22/2010 Nova Scotia

We made it! This information station was staffed with real people and we picked up a province map (we had a regional map of the Maritimes but it didn't have the detail we needed). BTW, there's a human inside that little lighthouse. For the life of us, we have no idea what he does or why they need someone there, but there he is.

Driving down Highway 102 we saw a sign that said this town was halfway between the Equator and the North Pole. Doesn't seem likely to us, but we took the exit anyway. Still don't know anymore than we did, but we got a nice picture of their local sign.

The next exit said it was the scenic route--"4 seasons of adventure". hmmm. So we took it! Why not?! Not sure we believe that sign. We did drive by a little ski place and actually saw snow. Other than that, it wasn't too scenic. Maybe the other three seasons are move scenic. But we can say we saw the Nova Scotia country side.
