Wow! Our first day had beautiful weather and gorgeous skies. No wind made for great reflection photos on Lake McDonald. Hanging out with photographers means you get to spend more time in each location just soaking it all in, knowing that you'll get great photos at the end of the day. Though we didn't get it captured on film, we started our day by spotting a beautiful bald eagle soaring across this lake.
Look how clear this water is! You can see the rocks on the bottom and the reflection of clouds on the top:
Already the selfies are better. And with a background like this, who's paying attention to the people (and lamb) in the foreground?
