We next stopped on one side of a bridge and got out and walked to the other side of the bridge. As cramped as it is in the bomb, this was a welcome respite. Additionally, we saw Lewis Falls. On the south side of the bridge, you saw them up close, on the north side of the bridge, you looked up the river and could see them. On the east side of the bridge, the river meandered across a snow-covered flood plain and in the sunshine (hooray for sunshine), it was a beautiful winterscape.
