Our first destination on Monday morning was the LBJ Ranch and Johnson City. We saw the home where LBJ was born...
...and a movie at LBJ State Park (which is part of the LBJ National Historical Park).
And then his "Texas White House" including Air Force One Half (the nickname for this small Air Force One).
We toured the inside of his home, which he and Lady Bird bought when he was a senator. It's furnished with lots of original family pieces . . . it was a time travel trip. No photos allowed inside but we did see some cool stuff outside, too.
