8/9/11 Hotel Denver (in Glenwood Springs)

Here's our hotel, The Hotel Denver. It is literally across the street from the train station.

The hotel is newly renovated and in fact, still in the process. They're doing a great job of preserving the old, while adding modern amenities and making it all clean and pretty and wonderful.


Our amazing desk clerk, Jennifer, switched us from a room with an inside view to a real "room with a view" that they just finished two weeks ago. They took two "standard" rooms and knocked out the wall in between to create our room. Amazing room with a view. Two queen beds, dinette table and chairs, two big sitting room chairs... Under $150 per night.

It even comes with a real key!
