8/21/08 New York Aquarium

There were many exciting exhibits at The New York Aquarium. There was a cool feature in which you could go underground and view the tanks from the side. We were able to get many good pictures from this point of view. The otters apparently are always cleaning themselves. That's what the otter is doing in this picture:

Walruses apparently are much bigger in person. They don't look that big in this photo, but they are large in person. It's about the size of 20 Little Brothers.

There was also an exhibit with different cnidarians which are different types of sea creatures that can sting you. With the different lighting, the different types of jelly fish looked cool.
