We stopped in Daleville on our way to Hollins in order to pick up last minute supplies (including a trail map and data book at the backpacking store and specific food items at Kroger). In the same shopping center was Three Little Pigs Barbecue. We needed to eat lunch anyway and it seemed like a great spot. In fact, Betsey and Cathy had, on a whim, driven to Roanoke on Jan's 50th birthday to surprise her, and had dinner at this restaurant. A bonus was that they had very cute little hats embroidered with three little pigs, so we each got one. In the process of ordering lunch and waiting for it, we got to talking to most of the wait staff including one woman who was Mr. Wroble's wife when he first came to Hollins! She took this photo and will email it to him on our behalf. I feel certain this will bring a smile to his face.
Where will I travel next? Only God knows . . . literally. As He has provided me with incredible opportunities and adventures, both near and far, I look forward to the next travel or encounter.
