We decided to try out our new pedometers. I'm wearing the orange one and Marty has turquoise. We found a parking spot but we were pretty sure we weren't near Chocolate World, which was where we wanted to be. We wandered around town until we found a local who gave us good directions on how to get where we wanted to be.
Check out the names of the streets (this is Chocolate Ave., but there's Cocoa Way and lots of other references to chocolate and candy) and the street lights (all shaped like Hershey's Kisses . . . every other one is an unwrapped Kiss).
We didn't go to the amusement park, but you can see it from most anywhere in town, including this ride which pays tribute to the 100th anniversary of the Hershey Kiss and maybe some other Hershey items (it got confusing after a while).
We took the free ride that goes through the animated "How Chocolate is Made" demonstration.
We also learned about Mr. and Mrs. Hershey being great philanthropists.
And we had fun in the gift shop area and food court.
